Job shop setting heavy industrial repair shop looking for experienced Welder with minimum of 5 years' experience and diploma from apprenticeship required. Will be required to know how to operate various types of welding machines such as Stick, Mig, tig, sub arc. Must know how to properly use hand tools including precision measuring devices. Must have basic math skills. Blueprint reading a must. Must have own welding hood, gloves, jacket, various hand tools and lockable toolbox. Must have steel toe work shoes.
Duties will include rigging and operating overhead cranes to set up machinery. Locate proper tooling. Setup and proper operation of manual machines. Must be able to weld buildup machine parts to drawing specifications in a reasonable time as specified by management.
Must have High School diploma, and Welding Apprenticeship diploma from a trade school.
Good, on time, attendance is required.
