Job DescriptionJob Description

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a Flatbed Semi, Flatbed Straight Truck and a Dual Axle Dump Trailer Truck
  • Need to be able to operate a manual 10 speed with a Splitter, an Ultra Shift and an Automatic.
  • Need to have Standard forklift experience, and helpful to have Princeton and/or Donkey experience also.
  • Will be driving at least 85% of day.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle.
  • Will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks at the branch and at the customer’s jobsite.
  • Ensure cargo is secured properly compliant with safety requirements.
  • Report any incidents to the dispatcher.
  • Follow/adhere to all traffic laws.
  • Maintain vehicle, product, and equipment tidy and in good working order.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to lift 50-65 pounds consistently will be expected to help out at the branch when not driving, with duties listed above.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills – written, verbal, persuasion, motivation, facilitation of strong working relationships.
  • Knowledge of applicable state driving rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of GPS navigation technology.
  • Knowledge of the delivery area and alternate routes
  • Experience with route delivery/driving

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Required to have a Driver's License
  • DOT Medical Card
  • 1 Year of CDL Class B Driving experience MIN
  • Minimum age requirement is 21 years old.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
  • Must be able to bend, stand, climb up into truck and walk.

Schedule:

  • Starting Pay - $24.00/Hour
  • 1st Shift 7:00AM-4:00PM
  • Monday - Friday
  • No WEEKENDS
  • Paid Weekly
  • Averages 45-50 Hours Week
