Job Summary:Orinoco Intelligent Delivery is seeking a dedicated and responsible Helper for Drivers to assist our delivery team in ensuring efficient and safe delivery operations. As a Helper for Drivers, you will work closely with our delivery drivers to support them in their daily tasks, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in Loading and Unloading: Help drivers load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring that packages and goods are properly secured and organized.

  2. Route Navigation: Assist drivers with navigation and provide directions using GPS or maps to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.

  3. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of delivered and undelivered items, and report any discrepancies to the driver or supervisor.

  4. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers during deliveries, answering questions, and resolving minor issues when necessary.

  5. Vehicle Maintenance: Assist in vehicle maintenance tasks such as refueling, checking oil levels, and reporting any mechanical issues to the maintenance department.

  6. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and the driver.

  7. Communication: Maintain effective communication with the driver and the dispatch team to provide updates on delivery progress and any challenges encountered.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license (if required by the company).
  • Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects and packages.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
