Asbestos Professional

JSG is actively seeking an experienced Asbestos Professional to join our team through a direct hire opportunity in Canoga Park, CA. The ideal candidate will exhibit a high level of autonomy in developing, implementing, coordinating, and overseeing asbestos projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities encompass a spectrum of tasks including inspections, meticulous report composition, crafting operations and maintenance plans, overseeing abatement procedures, and drafting precise project specifications.
Key Duties:
- Compose and edit detailed scientific reports tailored to client specifications.
- Offer expert scientific counsel, advice, and data interpretation to clients.
- Prior experience and certifications in Lead and Indoor Air Quality are advantageous.
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on field experience conducting lead assessments and inspections.
- Demonstrate proficiency in executing assignments, possessing requisite knowledge, skills, and experience to navigate all project facets.
- Exhibit independent judgment and decision-making prowess in organizing and executing work tasks.
- Leverage resources adeptly to innovate solutions and tackle novel challenges encountered in assignments.
- Identify and streamline processes, eliminating redundant tasks and non-value-added activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a deep understanding of building systems.
- Hold current certification from the State of California as either a Certified Site Surveillance Technician (CSST) or a Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC).
