Plating Technician

Job DescriptionJob Description

Ability to read simple blue prints and diagrams without assistance.

Previous experience masking individual pieces for plating operations.

Have an understanding of plating terminology such as current density, surface area, amperage, plating time, etc.

Basic mathematic skills: add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in ever-changing environment with multiple priorities.

Previous experience handling chemicals safely.

Must be able to apply common sense in carrying out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

Have the ability to maintain all plating records and prepare documentation to process work orders.

Maintains clean, well-organized work area while performing all assigned tasks in a manner consistent with company safety/environmental regulations.

Must be able to pass a drug test, DOT background check, and submit to random testing
