Our Stuart, Florida office is looking for a Civil CAD Operator with an associates degree in CAD or similar relevant experience to join our team in our civil engineering division of Mathers Engineering Corporation.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Civil Computer Draftsperson located in Stuart, FL. The Civil Computer Draftsperson is responsible for using computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify engineering design drawings for public works projects, including drainage, water, and sewer systems. The Civil Computer Draftsperson will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other drafting professionals to develop and complete design drawings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or Associate degree or higher in Computer-Aided Design/Drafting, or related experience.
- 1+ years of relevant experience with a civil engineering consulting firm
- 5+ years of experience as a Computer Draftsperson, preferably in civil engineering projects, including drainage, utilities and site plan.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
- Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and specifications
- Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and manage work flow
