We specialize in the Low Voltage and Public Safety sector with Design, Consulting, and Termination. Our team of skilled professionals is committed to excellence, and we are seeking a motivated Drafting Assistant to join our growing team.

Role Overview:
As a Drafting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering and design teams. You will be responsible for creating permit sets, engineering drawings, and documentation to ensure our projects are completed efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create preliminary design sketches for conceptual analysis.
  • Develop engineering drawings and designs for conduit schedules.
  • Prepare design specifications, documentation, and material lists.
  • Assemble complete documentation packages for permit sets.
  • Verify that drawings meet specifications, codes, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in developing technical reports for engineers.

  • Experience Needed:

  • Proficiency in operating Auto- CAD software and Bluebeam Revu.
  • Ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Design teams.
  • Excellent time management skills.

  • Qualifications:

  • A degree or certification in drafting, engineering, or construction is preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)
  • Permit Knowledge is a plus.
