Job Description:
As a Journeyman Painter Field Supervisor, you will be entrusted with overseeing and managing a team of painters across diverse industries, such as construction, automotive, and industrial painting. Your role encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities to ensure project success, adherence to quality standards, and the safety of your team. Here's an overview of your key duties:
1. Team Leadership:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of painters.
- Delegate tasks and projects based on individual skills and experience levels.
- Provide training to new team members and enforce safety and quality protocols.
2. Project Management:
- Strategically plan and schedule painting projects to meet deadlines.
- Procure necessary materials, tools, and equipment and ensure their readiness.
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely completion.
3. Quality Control:
- Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to ensure it meets quality standards.
- Address any deficiencies promptly and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to proper painting techniques and material usage.
4. Safety Compliance:
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols to mitigate risks of accidents and injuries.
- Provide comprehensive safety training and ensure the use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Conduct regular site inspections to uphold safety standards.
5. Budget Management:
- Monitor project budgets, including labor and material costs.
- Optimize resource allocation to stay within budgetary constraints.
- Report budget discrepancies to higher management and propose cost-saving measures.
6. Communication:
- Serve as a liaison between the painting team and stakeholders, including clients and management.
- Communicate project updates, challenges, and progress effectively.
- Address client concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
7. Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of project timelines, expenses, and material usage.
- Generate comprehensive reports for documentation and billing purposes.

- Identify and resolve technical or logistical challenges that arise during projects.
- Collaborate with other teams or departments to overcome obstacles and ensure project success.
9. Compliance and Regulations:
- Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards pertaining to painting materials and techniques.

- Proactively seek opportunities for process enhancement and efficiency gains.
- Stay updated on advancements in painting technologies, materials, and techniques and incorporate them as appropriate.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Requirements: Steel-toed boots are mandatory. All materials will be provided.
