AIR Environmental Consulting is seeking a well-rounded, professional candidate for project monitor for asbestos projects. We can provide training and certifications for career oriented candidate Candidates with NYDOL certifications and experience in asbestos projects in New York State are encouraged to apply. A valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle report is required.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct environmental hazard air monitoring
  • Coordinate and collaborate with property owners, building managers, agency representatives, and community organizations
  • Operate basic field equipment for measurements
  • Collection of samples and data gathering
  • Prepare daily records
  • Participate in weekly and other team meetings as appropriate
  • Support broad mission and policy efforts and initiatives

Job Type: Per Diem

Expected hours: Dependent upon projects
