Radiometrics Midwest Corp. is seeking an EMC Test Engineer/Quality Manager to join our EMC testing team in Romeoville, IL
Responsibilities: EMC Testing and Quality Managers’ responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring Competence and adequate supervision of Laboratory activity and EMC engineering staff.
- Maintaining and updating ongoing EMC Engineers’ training and training records.
- Reviewing EMC test reports and test plans.
- Reviewing and/or writing EMC test procedures.
- Maintaining Calibration record and intervals of EMC test equipment and systems.
- Complying with all aspects of Radiometrics Labs Quality Manual, Policies and Procedures.
- Providing consulting services to clients with EMC testing and design needs.
- Researching updates to testing standards and communicating the changes to other staff.
- Communicating project status with management and providing on-going support to clients as needed.
- FCC Submittal Coordinator.
- A2LA Accreditation Coordinator.
- Working closely with Management on continuous improvement of EMC operations.
- Performing other work as required.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor of Engineering or higher in Electronic Engineering, (or a similar subject), w/ minimum of 2-4 years EMC Testing experience.
- INARTE EMC/EMI engineering certification preferred.
- Two or more years engineering experience.
- Strong communications skills and the ability to work with customers and as a team.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with common applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Experience with RF.
Location: Romeoville, IL
Compensation: Negotiable depending on level of experience
