As a Steel Erector with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you'll support self-performing general contractor on a High-Profile New Construction Project in Courtland, AL. In this long-term, temp-to-hire role, you'll enjoy weekly pay, health insurance benefits and a flexible work schedule.
Pay rate is $22-$32/hr.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure that all electrical systems, components, and equipment are installed professionally and to the specifications of our clients
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and local, state, and national codes
• Connect wire to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes
• Follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring or equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes
• Place conduit, pipes or tubing, inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes
Qualifications:
• Be at least 18+ years of age Certification or a willingness to obtain it
• Ability to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

• Ability to lift to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prior experience in the industrial field preferred
• Position may require a drug screen
