Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMoro's Kitchen, a premier restaurant in Skaneateles, is looking to fill the position of Full Time Lead Server. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, outgoing personality, be team player and committed to professional service. 2 plus years in a similar capacity and restaurant is preferred. Wine knowledge, preferably Italian, and experience with professional service standards are a must for service staff. A Lead Server ensures the smooth running of the FOH shift and is maintains guest satisfaction. Experience managing a POS and social media is a plus. Shifts Wednesday through Sunday. Lead Server receives premium hourly rate plus tips.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve food and beverages to guests
  • Explain to guests about menu items
  • Clean and prepare the dining areas
  • Greet and make all guests feel welcome at the restaurant
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely fashion
  • Perform other restaurant duties as assigned

  • Previous experience in customer service, food service, or other related fields
  • Ability to build rapport with guests
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
