Senior Accountant

A growing Kansas City company is looking for a Senior Accountant to add to their growing organization.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a variety of duties that include:
- Prepare journal entries
- Manage and update inventory reports
- Maintain standard cost information for purchased and manufactured parts
- Assist with month end close including helping to prepare balance sheets and profit and loss statements
- Account reconciliations
- Maintain financial reports and records
- Reconciles cash application and disbursements
- Prepare payments by verifying documentation
- Assist with any special financial reports
- Any other needs as assigned
Skills required for Senior Accountant:
- 5+ years experience as a Senior Accountant
- Experience within the manufacturing industry a big plus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance a must
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
