A growing Kansas City company is looking for a Senior Accountant to add to their growing organization.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a variety of duties that include:

  • Prepare journal entries
  • Manage and update inventory reports
  • Maintain standard cost information for purchased and manufactured parts
  • Assist with month end close including helping to prepare balance sheets and profit and loss statements
  • Account reconciliations
  • Maintain financial reports and records
  • Reconciles cash application and disbursements
  • Prepare payments by verifying documentation
  • Assist with any special financial reports
  • Any other needs as assigned

Skills required for Senior Accountant:

  • 5+ years experience as a Senior Accountant
  • Experience within the manufacturing industry a big plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance a must
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
