As a Ramp Operations Supervisor at LSG Sky Chefs, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our ramp activities. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of ramp operations, including coordinating the loading and unloading of catering supplies and equipment onto aircraft, managing ramp personnel, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of ramp personnel, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate all ramp activities, including the loading and unloading of catering supplies, equipment, and other materials onto aircraft according to airline specifications and schedules.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, security measures, and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe working environment for ramp personnel and airline partners.
  • Monitor the quality and accuracy of catering supplies and equipment loaded onto aircraft, conducting inspections and addressing any issues or discrepancies promptly.
  • Efficiently allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to optimize productivity and meet operational demands while minimizing costs.
  • Liaise with airline representatives, ground handling agents, and other stakeholders to coordinate ramp activities, resolve operational issues, and ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs), such as on-time performance, productivity metrics, and service quality standards, and provide regular reports to management for performance evaluation and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Seeking a background in Aviation Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in ramp operations, preferably in the aviation or catering industry.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and operational procedures related to ramp activities.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office suite and airline-specific software.
