Journeyman Plumber

We have a new opportunity for an experienced Commercial Journeyman-level Plumber with a strong mechanical background to join our Federal Operations and Maintenance Team based in Anchorage, Alaska.  

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, test, and repair plumbing and HVAC mechanical systems, related piping systems, control valves, and all other related equipment, in accordance with plumbing and HVAC codes;
• Must have the ability to read and understand design documents;
• Must have the ability to lead projects and manage change;
• Ability to estimate time and material jobs;
• Maintain customer satisfaction and exceed customers’ expectations; and,
• Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Trade school or Vocational High School Diploma.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in commercial plumbing and installation.
• Journeyman’s Plumbers License

Additional Qualifications:

• Self- starter, able to work in a team environment and able to install from bid specifications.
• Will be required to travel to remote locations at times.
• Physical ability to bend, reach, climb, and lift 45+ lbs. without assistance.
• Strong verbal, written, computer communication (MS Office) and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task, follow through, and meet deadlines.
• Valid Driver’s License.
