Surgical Technician

Location: Denver, CO

Compensation:

  • Hourly Wage Estimate: $26.00 - $39.01
  • Sign-On Bonus: Case by case basis
  • Relocation Assistance: Case by case basis
  • Differentials: $2.50 for evenings & weekends; $5.50 for nights

Shift:

  • Full-Time: Days available

Job Summary:

  • The Surgical Technician will assist during surgical procedures, demonstrating expertise in aseptic technique, equipment setup, and supply management.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Set up required equipment and sterile supplies for assigned cases.
    • Manage all aspects of aseptic technique and break down cases post-procedure.
    • Possess advanced knowledge in various surgical specialties and demonstrate organizational skills.
    • Communicate positively and professionally with all internal and external customers.

Qualifications:

  • Certifications: Current BLS certification through AHA or ARC; CST certification preferred; Registration as a Surgical Tech by Colorado Division of Regulatory Agencies (DORA).
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited program for Operating Room Technicians.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year as a Surgery Technician with advanced knowledge in the scrub role.
  • Specializations:
    • Service Line Lead Tech: 5 years of experience, including 2 years in Ortho.
    • Neuro Surgical Tech: Experience in neurosurgical procedures required.
    • Surgical Tech III: Certified with at least 1 year of experience required.

Additional Information:

  • Commitment: Bonuses are taxed and paid within the first 30 days of employment in one lump sum with a 2-year commitment.
