General Laborer

Animal Nutrition Systems produces premix and feed supplements for dairy cattle. Animal Nutrition Systems has been in business for over 40 years servicing dairies in the valley.

We are looking to hire a General Laborer to support the plant and production. This person must bring a positive mindset to our growing team. This position is physically active and requires a lot of lifting/moving as well as being outside and in dusty working areas. This person must be very attentive to detail and open to learning all different aspects/jobs of the plant. We are a growth minded company, looking for individuals to join our company who want to be a part of team work environment. Labor Duties & Responsibilities:

· Adhere to company policies, rules, and regulations to promote safe and efficient work space at the plant

· Mechanically inclined

· Must be able to work in the plant as well with the team and lift 55 lbs repeatedly

· Comply with OSHA, GRIC, EPA, FDA regulations

· Safety must always be a priority

· Ability to multi-task and work under time constraints occasionally

· Must be available to work full time with start time between 4am and 6am

· Must be able to work in dusty, arid, outside environment - those with environmental allergies need not apply

· Must work well with others and maintain a team player attitude

· Must have a good work ethic and drive to work with team to complete tasks each day

· Must be reliable

· Must arrive timely to work each shift

· Interest/availability in occasional weekend and/or overtime to complete tasks for the few extremely busy weeks of production and orders

· Interest in growth at Animal Nutrition Systems – management positions are available after learning all aspects of the plant and proving the knowledge and teamwork on the job

· Must take direction and complete tasks without constant supervision

· Must be flexible to adapt to orders and tasks – each day may require different duties to complete with different team members

We offer both custom formulations of mineral and vitamin supplements for feeding at local dairies through our nutritionists as well as produce and deliver premixes and supplements ordered from local Arizona dairies.
