Located in the south suburbs, we are looking to hire a full-time MARKETING Administrative Assistant with proficiency in Excel and Customer Service. This is a permanent position. Besides Marketing, billing will be a large part of the position. Your overall talent will be utilized day to day by way of MANAGING SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS, BROCHURES, DIRECT TO CUSTOMER MARKETING, BILLING, etc. Any software you require will be provided. Marketing will not take up the majority of the day. We do receive heavy telephone traffic throughout the day. You will enter work orders, schedule appointments, and support the Department Manager. Duties include first and foremost, Marketing skills as listed and proficiency in Excel (non-negotiable). There will be some long term projects to stay on top of, quotes and equipment sales that may make up part of your day. The ability to work independently on some projects would be necessary.
On occasion, you should be comfortable working helping with 3rd party vendors to request quotes, follow through projects to the end, and be able to manage it as needed. An example would be working on competitive quotes from cell phone providers or posting an online ticket if we are having trouble with the computer systems.
We manage our work orders on Galaxy Notes. Proficiency with this platform would be helpful.
This is an open office, teamwork environment. We are business casual and jeans day on Fridays.
Location: south suburbs near I-294 & Cicero Avenue.
