Senior Process Engineer Responsibilities

  • Develop specifications and designs for the client's gas handling systems with a focus on safety
  • Document the design process, including design reviews and technical documentation
  • Liaise with vendors and engineering firms to procure, manufacture and deploy pilot plant equipment as needed
  • Collaborate to document hazards and develop safety procedures

Senior Process Engineer Required skills and qualifications

  • B.SC Chemical Engineering. Masters preferred
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Experience with pumping corrosive or hazardous gases like chlorine (Cl2) and/or hydrogen chloride (HCl) (dry/wet)
  • Working knowledge of core engineering principles, including materials, thermodynamics, gas flow dynamics. Ability to perform engineering necessary to go from specifications to part procurement
  • Proficient in production of process flow diagrams and P&ID drawings

Senior Process Engineer Preferred experience

  • Heat exchangers
  • Sealed gas blowers
  • Industrial process instrumentation and control
  • SolidWorks, Visio (P&ID)
  • Shakedown, troubleshooting, and operational experience with actual equipment
