Creative Financial Staffing is partnered with a small family-owned manufacturing organization, seeking an Accounting Assistant to join their team in Rockland, MA.

About the Company Seeking an Accounting Assistant:

  • Established over 60 years ago, our client is $15M privately help Manufacturing company
  • Client base is comprised of the top Automotive clients, among their prestigious client base
  • Growing organically by expanding into different industries


Responsibilities Expected for the Accounting Assistant:

Accounts Receivable -

  • Receive and process incoming checks
  • Post cash transactions and perform billing on a weekly basis
  • Send invoices, via email, to customers
  • Manage straightforward and not high-volume transactions

Accounts Payable -

  • Perform a 3-way match for incoming invoices; coordinating for invoice approvals
  • Conduct a weekly AP check run
  • Print, sign and mail checks as needed
  • Handle a volume ranging from 5 to 30 checks

Ad Hoc Tasks -

  • Manage filing and organizational duties
  • Open and sort incoming mail
  • Assist with reconciling accounts proficiency increases
  • Make copies of documents as required
  • Assist in preparing for audits


Background Expected of the Accounting Assistant:

  • Associate degree or experience equivalent (2 years of accounting experience)
  • 1+ years of experience in Accounts Payable AND Accounts Receivable (either concurrently or consecutively)
  • Epicor experience preferred but not expected
