Job DescriptionJob Description

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager(s), the Truck Driver is responsible for coordinating merchandise pick-ups and deliveries, and interacting with retail store associates on a daily basis. This is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves continual lifting, lowering and carrying.

Responsibilities:

· Ensure timely pick-up and delivery of donated items

· Ensure cleanliness of company truck

· Ability to safely load truck, and secure loads

· Responsible for general truck maintenance (i.e. checking fluid levels, tire pressure, etc.)

· Provide, as needed, information and photos for marketing purposes

· Develop and maintain good relationships with retail store associates

· Other warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· A High School Diploma or equivalent

· Minimum age: 25

· A valid FL Driver's License and clean driving record

· At least two (2) years’ experience driving a 24ft box truck, or similar

· Ability to lift up to 70 lbs

· Ability to move pallets around the truck, and on/off the lift gate

· Excellent organizational skills required for scheduling and handling day to day logistics

· Strong interpersonal skills

· Strong oral communication skills

· Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks

· Ability to work with persons of diverse backgrounds, skills and abilities

· A positive attitude

· Ability to handle challenges calmly and professionally

Details

· MCS provides a drug-free, healthy, and safe workplace. Regular drug screenings are required.

· Hours: 20-25 hours per week between Monday-Thursday, 7:00am – 5:00pm

· This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position
