Position: Marketing Specialist 

Job Summary
The Marketing Specialist at Glacier Hills Credit Union is a crucial member of our marketing team, responsible for executing and supporting marketing initiatives that align with the credit union's brand, values, and strategic goals. This dynamic role involves data analysis, campaign development, graphic design, social media management, member engagement, community outreach, and staff training.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Utilize data analytics tools to gather insights from member behavior, market trends, and campaign performance
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and make data-driven recommendations
  • Collaborate with the VP of Marketing to develop and implement marketing campaigns that promote our credit union's products, services, and values
  • Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies as necessary to optimize results
  • Create engaging and relevant content for the credit union's social media platforms
  • Maintain a consistent online presence, ensuring that social media content reflects the brand's message and values
  • Design eye-catching visual materials, such as advertisements, brochures, banners, and other marketing collateral 
  • Ensure brand consistency in all design elements
  • Represent the credit union at community events and engage in partnerships that promote our brand and community involvement
  • Participate in volunteer activities and support charitable initiatives to strengthen our community presence
  • Interact with credit union members to build strong relationships and address their needs
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase member engagement and satisfaction
  • Provide training and resources to staff members, ensuring they are informed about marketing initiatives and can effectively communicate these to members
  • Offer ongoing marketing education to staff to enhance their skills
  • Must maintain the ability to remain bonded

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Marketing

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Proven experience in marketing, data analysis, and campaign management
  • Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for member and staff interactions
  • Adept in using social media platforms for business promotion
  • Knowledge of financial services or the credit union industry is a plus
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
