Position Overview: As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operational activities of the company. You will work closely with various departments to ensure operational efficiency, streamline processes, and achieve organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving continuous improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
  • Reviewing orders, job descriptions, proposals on a weekly basis
  • Coordinate with department heads to establish and communicate operational goals, objectives, and timelines.
  • Meet with safety, compliance, and Service Manager on regular basis to execute and reinforce safety protocol.
  • Review and oversee fleet manager responsibilities such as maintenance, repairs, and inventory.
  • Oversee the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize productivity and minimize waste.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress towards operational goals and identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and optimize staffing needs for each division.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage operational budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing operations team, providing coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and company policies.
  • Complete regularly scheduled 1-1’s with service department.
  • Attend sales meeting to review metrics and set obtainable goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or position related experience.
  • Proven experience in operations management, with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve high levels of performance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address operational challenges.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience working in refrigeration is preferred but not required.
