Behavior Therapist/RBT

We are seeking a Behavior Therapist/RBT to join our team You will be responsible for implementing effective treatment plans to clients in an individual setting.

Responsibilities:

• Learn and implement behavior intervention programs
• Learn and implement treatment goals and targets
• Take data and interpret data to communicate with the clinical team
• Support with family involvement
• Provide clear and therapeutic feedback to the clinical team when supervised
• Be willing to learn new approaches to ABA and work collaboratively with your clinical supervisor

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelors Degree or working toward a Bachelors degree in Social Work, Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Special Education or related fields.
• Experience with children is required.
• Experience with children/adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other disabilities is preferred
• RBT Certification from BACB or willing to obtain during employment
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week M-F
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, and other training certifications as required per program
• Ability to Actively play with kids for 20 minutes at a time
• Ability to stand, sit, squat, bend, twist, and lift 50 lbs
• The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and families
• Valid state identification card
• Reliable transportation
• Must pass a criminal background check
