CARPENTER

 

OVERVIEW

A growing Northern California General Construction company with projects in both residential & commercial markets including high-end remodeling, window and door installations and new construction seeks  journeyman level carpenters.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

(Include the following but not limited to):

· Demo, layout and rough framing

· Exterior and interior trim, millwork

· Window/door removal and installation

· Management of project schedules and crews

· Interfacing with customers, inspectors, engineers, architects, etc.

· Documenting and reporting of projects

· Management of company tools and equipment

 

QUALIFICATIONS

· High School diploma

· Current driver’s license

· At least 5 years of experience as a carpenter

· Be able to work within a team environment and also independently while taking direction

· Must be a self-starter and motivated while showing a strong work ethic and quality work

· Applicants should have reliable transportations and basic tools

· Must be in good physical health, able to lift 150lbs

· Able to work an 8 hour day and work 5 days a week Monday through Friday

· Computer skills in Word and Excel a plus

 

SALARY & BENEFITS

· Hourly pay, (65K -75K average), negotiable DOE

· Medical, dental, vision, 401k
