MED SURG/TELEMETRY RN

Location: Brooklyn & Manhattan, NY

Position: Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift: 3 x 12-Hour Shifts per Week

Job Description: We are seeking experienced and dedicated Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our dynamic healthcare team in Brooklyn and Manhattan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced medical surgical and telemetry unit. You will work 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, ensuring the best patient outcomes through compassionate and skilled nursing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
  • Prepare patients for and assist with examinations and treatments.
  • Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays.
  • Coordinate patient care with team members and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med Surg/Telemetry setting.
  • BLS and ACLS certification required.
  • Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
