Brookwoods Group is working with a large full-service oil and gas company to fill a commercial contract position. The Maintenance Technician role is a 7-month assignment working in the shale fields, Kenedy, TX.  If you have mechanical experience in Oil and Gas and have worked with natural gas compressors our client is ready to have you start.  If you have strong technical acumen and can work autonomously with little supervision you could be a perfect fit.

MUST HAVE WITHOUT EXCEPTION:

  1. Must have 3 – 5 years of relevant mechanical work experience and at least 1 year experience in the oil and gas industry.
  2. Must have general knowledge of specific systems, terminology and procedures used within the department.
  3. Must have previous experience providing technical/functional and /or administrative support.
  4. Must have strong problem-solving skills.
  5. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Details:

  • This is a full-time position as our employee working under contract at our client’s location – Kenedy field office.
  • Compensation includes salary dependent on your experience.
  • Benefits are offered, but not covered by the company.
  • This is a 5-day 8 hour a day work schedule with 2 days off.
  • Drug screening will be required before and potentially during the assignment.
