ChemStation Omaha, located in Omaha, NE has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Field Service Technician. As a team-oriented company, you must work well in a group setting, as you will have contact with customers, employees and management. Excellent communication skills are necessary. Duties will include but not be limited to equipment maintenance, installation, chemical blending, and general warehouse responsibilities.

Candidate must be able to perform technical service in addition to providing mechanical installation of equipment, evaluate problems, troubleshoot & repair equipment. A Class CDL A or B license and HAZMAT/TANKER endorsement is preferred but not required.

Hours will vary daily, Monday-Friday, 40 hr. typical week with 5-10 overtime hours.

Job Description/Duties:

  • Install and service a variety of equipment
  • Educate customers on service features and functionality
  • Ability to think outside of the box, work independently
  • Electrical skills or mechanical inclination would be helpful
  • Warehouse duties, shipping and receiving, organization
  • Load and unload delivery truck

 

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Candidate must be a  reliable and customer-oriented self-starter who can work both independently and with a team
  • Able to lift 60 pounds unassisted
  • Valid State Driver’s License and non-negligent driving record
  • Satisfactory results from background/employment history & drug screening
  • Ability to work in a flexible environment which can include over-time hours and some travel
  • Work with hand tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to process paperwork accurately and manage time
  • Safety oriented, physically fit, personable & well-spoken
