Key Responsibilities:

  1. Scheduling and Supervision:

    • Efficiently schedule drivers for pickups and deliveries, ensuring optimal resource utilization and adherence to timelines.
    • Monitor driver routes and performance, providing guidance and support to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
    • Step in to assist with driving duties as needed to maintain uninterrupted service.
  2. Training and Mentoring:

    • Train and mentor drivers to enhance their performance, focusing on safety, customer service, and adherence to schedules.
    • Diagnose performance problems and implement real-time solutions to ensure continuous improvement.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to drivers.
  3. Customer Service:

    • Act as a primary contact for customer inquiries and concerns, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Resolve issues related to pickups and deliveries promptly and professionally.
    • Foster positive relationships with customers, enhancing the company's reputation for reliability and service excellence.
  4. Vehicle Maintenance:

    • Coordinate routine maintenance and inspections of vehicles to ensure they meet safety and operational standards.
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and address repair needs promptly.
    • Ensure compliance with transportation laws and regulations.
  5. Policy Enforcement:

    • Enforce company policies and procedures among the driver team, ensuring consistent adherence.
    • Update and communicate any changes in policies or procedures to the team in a timely manner.
    • Ensure all operations are conducted in line with company standards and legal requirements.
  6. Team Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with the Driver Supervisor and other team members to continuously improve service quality.
    • Participate in team meetings, offering insights and suggestions for operational enhancements.
    • Assist in the onboarding and training of new drivers, emphasizing the importance of company values and customer service.
