Engineering Project Manager

Seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to be responsible for leading and managing engineering projects from initiation to completion. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and effective leadership to ensure the successful delivery of projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning – develop detailed project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Team Leadership – lead and motivate cross-functional project teams. Assign tasks and responsibilities, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Resource Management – Allocate and manage resources efficiently, including personnel, budget, and materials. Monitor resource usage and adjust plans to ensure project success.
- Risk Management – Identify potential risk and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risk throughout the project life cycle.
- Stakeholder Communication – Regularly communicate with project stakeholders, providing updates and managing expectations. Address concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Quality Assurance – Establish and enforce quality standards for project deliverables. Implement testing and quality control measures to meet specifications.
- Budget and Timeline Management – Develop and manage project budgets, making adjustments as necessary. Create and maintain project schedules, monitoring progress against timelines.
- Problem Solving – Address issues and challenges promptly, implementing corrective actions. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Documentation – Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Archive project documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Project Closure – Conduct thorough project reviews, including lessons learned analyses. Ensure final documentation is completed and archived appropriately.
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
2. 3 or more years of Managing Engineering Teams experience.
3. 2 or more years of Turbomachinery or Related experience preferred.
4. PMP Certification preferred.
