CAD Operator

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Reading, comprehending, and following verbal and written instructions
• Learning, reading, and following customer specifications
• Designing and creating production files
• Designing tooling
• Reading and understanding color coded specs
• Maintaining records (i.e. revision notes, times, logs of activity, etc)
• Designing and creating samples
• Checking output to ensure highest quality and efficiency
• Conforming to all safety practices and procedures
• Working harmoniously with the team

Job Requirements:

• Able to measure items with a ruler to the nearest 1/32nd of an inch
• Proficient with computers
• Proficient at touch typing
• Able to use an X-acto knife
• Possess a mechanical aptitude
• Be able to distinguish colors
• Possess basic math skills
• Be safety, quality, and efficiency driven
• Possess strong organizational skills
• Detail-oriented
• Possess flexible availability to be able to conform to attendance policy
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions
• Strong written and verbal skills
