Registered Nurses

Venesco, LLC is recruiting multiple Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide services at Center Arkansas Veterans Healthcare Systems in Little Rock and North Little Rock, Arkansas. Registered nurse openings exist in the Med Surge (Acute Care/Oncology) unit and Community Care Living. These positions are full time but part time and PRN will also be considered.

Duties include:
- Perform head-to-toe assessments
- insert IV lines
- Care and management of peripheral and central lines, including PICC lines
- administer medication including IV
- coordinate and participate in admission and discharge of patient
- measure vital signs/hemodynamic monitoring including pain, pulse oximetry, etc
- perform would care including dressing changes, and obtaining wound cultures as necessary
- obtain and deliver specimens to the lab
- perform tracheostomy care
- perform non-acute and/or acute ventilator care, if needed
- perform suctioning including oral, nasogastric and tracheostomy
- perform deep suctioning, which may include obtaining specimens
- assess for and administer tube feedings
- assist with routine urinary and bowel elimination including catheters, colostomies, and digital stimulation
- assist and perform enemas and other supportive measures as needed
- educate patients/residents and/or families regarding health and diagnoses and medication administration including indications for the medication
- respond and assist in emergency situations
- provide clinical oversight to Licensed Practical Nurses Nursing Assistants, and Health Technicians
1. Completion of an accredited nursing degree.
2. Must hold an active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license from one of the 50 states or US territories.
3. ACLS and BLS certification.
4. One year of experience in the last three years in the requested specialty.
