Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring MIG/TIG Welders for a large, well-known client in Troy, MI. Ideal applicants should have experience in TIG welding stainless steel and aluminum in the automotive industry.

Cardinal Staffing Services, is invested in their team members All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ranging from $18-23 (based on experience) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).

Available shifts include 1st which is Monday-Saturday 6am-4pm. Must be available for occasional mandatory overtime.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Use gas tungsten arc equipment as part of the fabrication process
  • Install or repair metal components
  • Follow a blueprint to spec and ensure quality parts are produced
  • Must be able to work independently however be willing to ask for help/confirm correct parts are being produced
  • Government contracts- customers onsite often, remain professional, ask for help when needed
  • Automotive experience preferred


Requirements and Qualifications

  • 1-3 years TIG welding exp or must have graduated from Community college program for welding or HOBART SCHOOL
  • Working interview for TIG welders, will need to demonstrate their skills onsite
  • Closed toe shoes, work appropriate shirt, work pants—WELDER will need to bring their gear for Weld Test
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
