Resource Restoration Group, LLC (RRG) is seeking candidates for a Ecological Construction Technician / General Laborer to assist in daily construction / excavation activities.

RRG is an ecological design / build firm specializing in stream restoration, wetland creation, living shoreline work and bio-retention installation. RRG is young, energetic company with a impeccable reputation, strong backlog and offers the ability to provide professional growth as we expand.

Travel is required as we work in Maryland, Pennsylvania and will be pursuing work in Virginia and West Virginia. Company provided transportation, food, lodging dependent on project location.

The General Laborer is viewed as a vital team member performing work on a wide variety of projects. The position offers great opportunity to gain hands on experience in the field of ecological design and restoration.  Candidates should have a desire to work in this industry.  The position can serve as an opportunity for advancement to other company roles in the future. 

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·       Performing manual labor tasks on-site to include, digging, seeding, raking, site clean-up.

·       Installation of erosion and sediment controls such as straw mulch and soil stabilization matting

·       Effectively using heavy and light equipment, depending on the job/assignment.

·       Operating grading rods and laser levels to assist in excavation and grading.

·       Maintains all safety standards on the job.

Job Requirements:

·       Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to project sites.

·       Travel is required: Project sites will be located throughout Maryland and Pennsylvania.

·       This position requires lifting heavy materials and equipment and often requires working outside in the elements in all seasons and weather conditions. 

·       Must be able lift and carry 80 lbs.

·       Good communication skills.

·       Experience in ecological construction and general labor is preferred.

Pay Range: $20 - 26 / hour
