Job description

BE Equipment Inc. is looking to add an experienced Installer / Service Technician.

Our staff refurbishes, installs, and services recycling equipment such as balers, shredders, conveyors systems, and compactors. Technicians are dispatched from our Quakertown, Pa office to service sites in PA and the surrounding states on a daily basis.

All employees are cross trained in the various areas involved with the equipment we service and install. New technicians are provided with on the job training prior to being dispatched independently.

Job requirements and responsibilities:

- Traveling to various sites for installation and service - Generating daily reports for each - Some overnight travel is required (on average, 3-4 nights monthly)

Basic Knowledge in:

-Proficient forklift experince

-Electrical troubleshooting and repair

-Hydraulic troubleshooting and repair

-Light welding

- Capable of passing a DOT physical

- Valid driver’s license with a clean record *CDL Class B or greater is a MUST*

- Must be capable of working in a group setting as well as independently

Job Type: Full-time
