General Laborer

Job DescriptionJob Description

The position requires, depending on the individual’s capability, operation of various machines for the production of diamond tooling( such as core drills, and grinding wheels). Entry level may include housekeeping duties, grinding, and loading/unloading of machine tools. More complex jobs may include operation of lathes, EDM’s, etc.
 

Essential Functions

• Deburr and grind parts as instructed

• Maintain cleanliness of area, and clean other areas of the department as directed

• Load and Unload machine tools as instructed.

• Learn various tasks of department depending on capability and as time permits

• Enter work and job hours accurately if required

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 6:00 am.-2:30 pm. Overtime hours are common, and ½ day Saturday work may be required. OT paid at 1.5x for >40 hours per week.
