Job DescriptionJob Description

Responsibilities:

  • Perform calibrations, adjustments, and basic repairs.
  • Generate calibration reports, characterization reports, and certificates of conformance.
  • Set up software to run test and calibration sequences in accordance with IEC, ISO, and CISPR standards.
  • Ensure equipment is properly documented, accessorized, and ready for shipment.
  • Support system orders with multiple pieces of equipment.
  • Identify missing accessories and ensure they are replaced.
  • Evaluate/ repair equipment for used purchases, rental pool, and customers.
  • Support customers and staff with EMC applications.
  • Develop calibration procedures and templates when needed.
  • Facilitate outsourced calibrations/ repairs.
  • Possible on-site visits to customers within North America may needed depending on circumstances.

Requirements:

  • Minimum four years experience in test equipment calibration and repair.
  • Proficiency in using RF test equipment including Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, Spectrum analyzers, amplifiers, LISN's CDN's Field probes, and RF current probes.
  • Characterization on antennas.
  • Experience with RF chambers and enclosures.
  • Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), internet research, data entry, Google Drive, etc.
  • Familiarity with EMC test standards.
  • Working knowledge of ISO/ IEC 17025 and ANSI/ NCSL Z540-1 requirements.
  • Experience in interacting with customers in a courteous and professional manner and providing an excellent customer service experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot with minimal or no documentation.
  • Good communication skills - working with manufacturing technicians.
