QA Manager

Job DescriptionJob Description

General Summary: Reports to Director of Quality, assist Director in the Management of the Quality Management System, interfaces with employees and assists the VP of Manufacturing by managing special projects when necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the company’s quality operation, including quality planning, 
• Assist in compliance to QMS Management for compliance.
• Coordinate special projects as required.
• Gather quality and manufacturing data in order to present statistical performance reports.
• Create forms and write procedures as required.
• Purchase inspection supplies, as required.
• Help keep customers informed on the status of their products.
• Helps Prepare training material Trains as required.
• Issues and update Correctives Actions/coordinate meeting necessary.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years job related experience. Must possess knowledge of electronic manufacturing methods, quality and workmanship standards. 
• Introduce potential and existing customers to NCA’s quality and manufacturing systems.
• Conduct periodic status meetings with Inspectors.
• Assist in maintaining AS9100 compliance.

Skills and Abilities Required

• College degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Ability to use computer and business software.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
