Seeking a Manufacturing Shift Supervisor to work the 2nd shift (shift hrs. 2:45pm-11:00pm)

Must have:
-At least 2 yrs. supervisory exp.
-Manufacturing exp. preferred
-Able to work 2nd shift (2:45pm-11:00pm)

Preferred:
-Exp. in safety
-Production scheduling exp.
-Worked with work tools such as SPS, 6 Sigma, Kaizen events & lean manufacturing

Job duties:
-Reporting directly to the plant superintendent, as a shift supervisor, you are accountable for; safety, quality, productivity, material handling, cost performance & employee for assigned shift.

Duties:
-Teach and lead the safety process and best manufacturing practices for assigned shift.
-Coordinate production scheduling on shift to meet customer demands, manage overtime, minimize inventory, and reduce costs.
-Direct shift in continuous improvement initiatives & work to meet performance metrics using tools such as SPS, 6 Sigma, Kaizen events & lean manufacturing.
-Build & maintain productive relationships that foster employee engagement & satisfaction.
-Provide direction, training & development of hourly employees on assigned shift & counseling or discipline as needed.
-Identify, propose, and implement capital projects to improve operational performance.
