SitePro Solutions is seeking an Instrumentation Technician for a leading electrical contractor in Taylor, TX

Instrumentation Technician responsibilities include:

  • Perform instrumentation and automation services: troubleshooting, calibration, installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Troubleshoot instrumentation functionality and I/O operation.
  • Terminate PLC signal cabling at PLC cabinets and field side (Instrumentation/VFDs/Electrical Equipment).
  • Interpret IO lists and cable scheduling
  • Interpret control panel and PLC schematics.
  • Repair instrumentation, typically involving calibration with various meters and tools.
  • Set up new instrumentation and calibrate to specifications using schematics and drawings.
  • Use computerized equipment and software for testing and reporting.

  • Competitive weekly pay between $28- $32/hr, depending on experience.*
  • Reliable daytime hours

  • 24/7 on-call support from a single point of contact.

Qualifications:

  • 1 year experience in instrumentation and automation services
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and I/Ooperations
  • Experience in repairing and calibrating instrumentation.
  • Capability to set up and calibrate new instrumentation
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needeed
