Job Description: Earth Services is looking for an experienced excavation superintendent to lead 3-4 crews and provide daily oversight and direction to field personnel assigned to our onsite construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all excavation activities on-site.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Manages project cost estimation and tracking.
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the project manager.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Superintendent or similar role in the excavation industry
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and construction process
- Proficiency in using construction management software such as Bluebeam, ProCore, & Heavy Jobs
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with various people
- Strong leadership abilities with the capability to supervise and motivate a team
- Solid understanding of budgeting principles and practices
