Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a GM Certified Technician for our Ogallala Chevrolet GMC Dealership. 

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair automotive vehicles
  • Verify and perform GM warranty, if applicable, on all repair orders.
  • Perform all work with efficiency and accuracy and in accordance with dealership and factory standards.       
  • Communicate with the parts department to secure necessary parts.
  •  Advise service manager and provide recommendation if repair order needs to be adjusted. 
  •  Road test vehicles as needed for quality assessment.
  • Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance
  • Provide labor and time estimates for automotive repairs 
  • Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments

​Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an automotive technician, mechanic, or other related fields
  • General Motors Certification
  • Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
