Experience and Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience within the past 3 years required.
- Must hold an CNA license for at least 1 year, with a current license valid in Minnesota
- BLS certification preferred, American Heart Association.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Turning or repositioning bedridden patients to prevent bedsores
- Measuring and recording vital signs such as temperature and blood pressure
- Responding to patient calls for care and assistance
- Documenting health issues and reporting to nursing staff
- Assisting patients with feeding and recording their food and liquid intake
- Maintaining cleanliness in patient rooms and changing bed linens
- Assisting with medical procedures and dressing wounds
- Preparing rooms for patient admissions
- Providing personal care to patients, including bathing, grooming, and oral care
- Managing supply inventory and restocking as needed
Requirements:
- Willingness to float to meet facility needs.
