We are currently looking for a Desktop/PC Support Technician for below project.

 

Duration: 5 Months

Location: Hudson, MA 01749

 

SHORT DESCRIPTION:     Site Conversion

Scope of Work:

 

Candidate will essentially provide Smart Hands onsite physical touch assistance to move and ship Office/Lab/Network equipment from current site to the new site location.

Candidate will work out of Intel’s ServiceNow ITSM ticketing system to facilitate work requests.

• Assist with material control to ensure all required materials are located, inventoried for hardware moves and shipping according to Intel process.

• Ensure quality and safety guidelines are followed.

• Ensure ticketed requests are assigned, communicated, and addressed within customer SLA.

• Ship or Receive Hardware using Intel Inter Property or Integrated Shipping Memo process

• Move Equipment from room locations to dock to be staged for shipping

• Perform asset management functions and ensure asset records are proper updated in ServiceNow for dispositioning of the hardware.

• Scanning and Labeling of hardware may be needed (use of RFID or Barcode scanners devices will be provided

• Designate parts identified for spare part stock inventory, if applicable

• Proper e-waste handling and disposal

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Effective communication skills

• Highly reliable and accountable

• Must be able to work independently as well as in teams of 3-4 and be flexible.

• Must be able to lift 35 lbs. solo.

• May be required to walk/sit/stand/crawl/kneel for extended periods.

• Must have excellent customer service skills and excellent written/verbal communication skills.

• Knowledge of Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word primarily), Windows 10/11

 

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:

*Must have a basic screw driver set *Should be able to lift and move up to 40lbs

*Must follow the mandatory business casual dress code (no jeans or leggings, tshirts, sneakers, or hats) *Must arrive on time and prepared for work no later than times requested
