As a sign tech role and responsibilities are as follows; See pay structure below as well.

 

Install and remove signs and post as routed, complete service orders. If the route needs to be modified, you need to call the manager and or supervisor. If you have to drop stops due to time restraints, you need to call the manager and or supervisor to discuss the best stop to drop. Be prepared to give a reason the stops need to be dropped so we can document and report to the agent.

 

If you get to a stop and it can not be completed, you are required to call the manager and or supervisor and record one or more exceptions with photos. We will then contact the agent and discuss options. More information from you will help us communicate with the agent why it cannot not be completed or the best option for us to complete.

 

Things that may need to be completed to install;

• Trim bushes- Call the office to get permission if trimming more than overgrown bushes.

• Move snow to complete install

• Trim branches to see the sign

• Call Agent and or office for more information-Be professional

• Use a cordless drill

• Operate a jackhammer

• Start A generator

• Dig Holes to complete the installation

• Use a stake mount post-Only when needed

• Fill all holes when removing post.

• Use large wire ties to install- only when needed-create an exception so we can charge agents, tell the agent why they had to be used vs digging in the exception notes. If there's a place to dig then you need to dig a hole and install. Call the office if needed to determine the best option

• Clean post at the warehouse and at the install location.

 

When recording exceptions, more info and photos are better.

 

You are responsible to pull needed signs for installs, and put all signs away when returning to the warehouse. We can assist in the office if needed, give us a call and we can walk you through the process. Any signs being delivered to the warehouse via UPS are also part of your job responsibilities.

 

Pay Structure

 

All team members are paid Bi-Weekly on every Friday via ACH deposit.

 

All team members clock in and via the time clock portal we provide. You are responsible to clock in and out each day worked. Lunch breaks are mandatory and need to be punched for at least 1 half hour. Due to the nature of the work day you get to determine lunch break times and can take as many breaks needed throughout the day , all breaks require a punch out and a punch in.

 

Starting Hourly Pay for sign techs-$16.00- We have opportunities to grow with in the company.

Bonus stop pay-Starting pay-$1.50 per stop in addition to the hourly rate. Average installers make 24 per hour with stop pay.

Stop pay is only paid if the stop is completed.

 

After 6 Months-Performance Increase .50=$2.00 per stop

After 18 Months-Performance Increase .50=$2.50 per stop

Additional stop pay increases are performance based and time with company dependent.

 

The bonus stop pay is subject to your performance for the week and can be revoked for that week if your performance does not meet our standard.

 

Hiring Bonus if applicable is paid upon the 12 month anniversary.

 

Paid Time Off Policy

 

Holiday Pay starts upon the start date. We pay 8 hours for each holiday. You can not call out the work day before or the work day after the holiday to be eligible for the holiday pay.

 

PTO-Paid Time Off; After 90 days you get 5 days of PTO time paid out at 8 hours each day.

PTO needs to be scheduled 7 days in advance.

 

3rd year anniversary you get a total of 10 days PTO.

 

Sick Time; 5 days of unpaid sick days is available.
