Patient Centered Services, LLC (PCS) is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide high-quality anesthetic care. The CRNA will perform complex anesthesia procedures with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled, with extensive experience in anesthesia, and committed to excellence in patient care.

Work Hours:
Contractor’s personnel are required to work any regular or irregular tour, with 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts, or a mixture thereof, based on patient care needs:
  • 8-Hour: Day 0645-1515; Evening 1100-1930
  • 10-Hour: Day 0645-1715; Evening 1100-2130
  • 12-Hour: Day 0645-1915
Responsibilities:
  • Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to prepare the anesthesia plan.
  • Deliver all forms of anesthesia and provide intra- and post-operative patient care.
  • Provide emergency airway and resuscitation management throughout the facility.
  • Establish effective working relationships with all levels of staff.
  • Communicate the anesthetic risks, benefits, and alternatives to patients.
  • Ensure timely and accurate anesthetic record charting and documentation.
  • Guide and train doctoral level anesthesia students and medical students.
Emergency Duties:
  • Respond to emergency situations by providing airway management, administration of emergency fluids and medications, and using appropriate resuscitation procedures for patient care.
  • Provide emergency treatment as directed by the patient’s Advanced Directives.
Qualifications:
  • Current, unrestricted license from a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience as a CRNA.
  • Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program approved by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted licensure as a graduate professional nurse.
  • Certification by the Council of Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
  • Proof of a negative TB test within the past 12 months, current flu and COVID vaccination or valid exemption, pre-employment drug screening.
  • Completion of initial competency evaluations based on VA-provided competency list.
Additional Requirements:
  • Maintain patient/resident confidentiality and a safe patient care environment.
  • Practice with colleagues and peers utilizing a collaborative team concept of anesthesia care while demonstrating effective communication skills and professional behaviors that promote cooperation and interdisciplinary teamwork.
  • Adapt and modify anesthesia techniques to optimize patient care.
  • Possess a working knowledge and basic skills in the use of personal computers (PC).
  • Be credentialed through VetPro and have evidence of completion of required licensure, credentials, required training, current competencies, and initiation of background investigations validated before providing direct patient care.
