ISRI is a prominent company in the automotive industry, known for its commitment to excellence and innovation. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cycle Counter to join our team. As a Cycle Counter, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the efficient flow of materials throughout our facility. Your strong mathematical skills and keen attention to detail will be essential in conducting inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies, and implementing effective inventory control measures.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Participate in physical inventory counts and assist in reconciling discrepancies.
  • Investigate root causes of discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy by working closely with other departments and utilizing inventory control systems and software.
  • Perform data entry tasks to update inventory records and track inventory movement.
  • Collaborate with other team members to optimize inventory processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify and report any potential inventory shortages or issues that may impact production schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures and company policies.
  • Assist with the organization and maintenance of the warehouse and storage areas.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience as a cycle counter or in a similar inventory control role is preferred.
  • Strong mathematical skills and ability to perform accurate calculations.
  • Proficient in using inventory control systems and software.
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies and solve problems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to adapt and learn new inventory control processes and technologies.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed.
  • Knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures in a warehouse environment.
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
