Position Overview:

The role actively supports marketing endeavors while prioritizing exceptional member services. Responsibilities encompass contributing to marketing campaigns, handling member inquiries, organizing events, managing digital media, and aiding in project oversight. Emphasis is placed on communication, involving the development of member communication strategies, maintaining precise records, and updating the cooperative's website. Collaborating with cross-functional departments, and engaging in ongoing professional development are fundamental to this role.


Primary Responsibilities:

**Marketing Specialist:**


  1. **Content Development:**

- Participate in crafting marketing materials, such as brochures, newsletters, and digital content.

- Work closely with the marketing team to create captivating and informative content.


  1. **Social Media Oversight:**

- Contribute to managing social media platforms, including content scheduling and fostering community engagement.

- Monitor social media analytics and provide insights on key metrics.


  1. **Event Management:**

- Aid in planning and executing cooperative events and community outreach initiatives.

- Manage logistical aspects and assist in promotional efforts during events.


  1. **Digital Marketing Assistance:**

- Support the implementation of digital marketing campaigns, encompassing email marketing and online advertising.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure the cooperative's website remains updated.


**Member Services:**


  1. **Responding to Customer Inquiries:**

- Assist members with inquiries, offering accurate and prompt responses regarding LCEC communications and posted cooperative events.

- Address member concerns and escalate issues when necessary.


  1. **Member Engagement:**

- Engage with members to gather feedback, assess satisfaction levels, and pinpoint areas for enhancement.

- Contribute to devising and executing member communication strategies.


Qualifications:

- Associate degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is advantageous.

- Prior experience in marketing support or customer service roles is desirable.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and basic graphic design tools is preferred.

- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing principles is beneficial.

- A member-centric approach with a dedication to delivering exceptional member services is crucial.

- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.


Work Environment:

- Predominantly based in a standard office setting.

- Availability for on-call duties during emergencies.

- Occasional overnight travel and after-hours work may be necessary.

- Random drug and alcohol testing may be conducted, as the position is classified as safety-sensitive.
