Quickbase Administrator

Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive QuickBase Database Programmer to join our IT team. This role requires a deep understanding of database management and the ability to efficiently manage and optimize our existing and future database infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with QuickBase, as well as familiarity and/or a history with other database management platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, upgrade, and maintain the performance of the proprietary custom-built QuickBase database.
• Develop and refine processes for optimizing database security and performance.
• Maintain database standards and manage database access.
• Perform regular performance tuning of database systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot any database errors.
• Implement and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
• Develop automation for repetitive database tasks.
• Provide on-call support as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a database administrator or similar role, with a strong focus on QuickBase.
• Familiarity with managed database platforms such as Sage, QuickBooks, Workforce, Airforce, Zoho, Caspio, MS Access, etc.
• Experience in project management software and understanding project management workflows.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to create and manage complex reports and dashboards.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
