Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm
Job Description:We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • This will initially be a rotational assignment with the successful candidate quickly learning and performing basic AP, AR, Billing, Cost, and Tax functions.
  • Candidate will work collaboratively with supervision to develop a permanent role after completion of
  • Role requires both accuracy and speed in the execution of assigned tasks.
  • Must be organized and able to prioritize workload.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to stay on task with minimal supervision.
  • Must be customer-oriented and able to work and communicate well with both internal and external constituencies.
  • Demonstrated willingness to perform tasks not directly associated with the role, including backing up coworkers, clerical tasks, and other duties as assigned.
  • Must be excited to learn and grow with the company.
  • Strongly prefer a four-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or other business-oriented field.
  • Will consider relevant experience in lieu of education.

Qualifications:
  • One to two years of accounting office-related work experience for a degreed candidate; two to five for the non-degreed candidate.
  • Fuel industry experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Demonstrated computer skills, especially importing to and exporting from Excel.
